Serenity of World Big 4 Resort at Badian, Cebu

My way of getting rid of the busy and stressful life n the city is to pack my bag and go for a trip to a place where instead of hearing car, truck, and jeepney engines running and noisy environment, you experience the softness and calmness that nature offers.

I was thinking of a place to spend my Holy Week vacation and I'm choosing between Bantayan Island and Badian's World Big 4 Resort. The two places are on my Travel Bucket List for this year. Somehow I wanted to accomplish one or two items on the list in my 4 days of Holy Week off.

A breathtaking view of the sea in the World Big 4 Resort

I've decided to go for the Badian trip instead of Bantayan Island because on the same dates, Bantayan Island will celebrate their annual town fiesta and the island is expected to be crowded and I'm supposed to have a quiet break from the stressful city life and the island is not a good choice at the moment. I preferred going to World Big 4 Resort in Badian because of the serenity that it brings and also I can accomplish two items on the Bucket List, Lambug Beach is also in Badian and actually near the resort. ^^

View on the left side of the resort.

The scenery on the right side of the resort, facing Lambug Beach.

Wooden footbridge to the sea, nice!

Resort's view on the footbridge.

The place is really nice and I'll definitely be coming back again if I have the time. This is the same statement I said when I first came to this place. The view is simply breathtaking and everything is very natural.

I would gladly recommend this resort to everyone seeking a quiet place to spend their vacation.

  5. Hello,
As i observe your pics were showing the right and left side of the beach which I believe Lambug and another beach resort on the other side. I think the accomodation on this resort is good but I checked fb and some pics. It seems like the water and sand is not that good. Most of the pics were showing green "lumot" on the seashore. Is this right? I am prefer to stay in this resort for security and accomodation sake but if the water and sand is not that good. I'd rather stay to other resort. Can you describe the water and sand? is the water as blue as I can see in pics on Lambug?

    1. Yes I could say that the sand is not that good but the water at the end of the footwalk is surely great. Great spot for snorkeling and diving.
