A Nice Little Trip in Mountain View Nature's Park at Busay, Cebu City

I had this trip planned to be done on 24 Aug '13, Saturday, together with my girl. Overnight stay at Mountain View Nature's Park and will be going home the following day. We wanted to be there early so that we can wander around and enjoy the place more.

Signage of the nature park.

But unfortunately, my brother's wedding happens to be on the same day. I thought of postponing the said trip because of the wedding. A little frustrated because of the conflict of schedule but I have to do the wedding because my role is my brother's best man.

An outside shot of Our Lady of Lourdes Church at Punta, Labangon.

A simple decoration of the aisle of the church for the wedding.

The wedding started at 10AM and I expected the day to be a long one. The reception was held at Ma. Lina's place in Labangon. It's quite a good wedding and all the guests enjoyed the wedding program which ended around 3PM. Then everyone said their wishes and goodbye to the newly wedded couple.

I was thinking it's still early and that we can still pursue the planned trip to Mountain View Nature's Park. And there, two hours later after the wedding program, we are already outside JY Square Mall at Lahug, Cebu, City, looking for a habal-habal (motorcycle for hire) going to nature's park.

We arrived at the place around 5:30PM and we directly head to the park's canteen where we can inquire about the rooms that are still available. Fortunately, there are still many rooms available. We got the Php1,000 fan room. Why not an AC room? Well, the place is normally a low-temperature area and that means a chilly evening so who cares for an AC unit.

Greeneries at the entrance of the park.

Looks like a toy house, it's the Php1,000 room we rented.

An array of rooms like ours.

AC room for Php1,500 if I'm not mistaken.

Some Php500 rooms under the pine trees.

Hanging plants in the canteen interior look nice!

The water park from afar.

Here's what we call a mountain view. ^^

A must-try rope course at the topmost part of Mountain View Nature's Park.

There's only one thing I can say about the place, it's a "NICE" place for relaxation suitable for all ages. And do not forget the rope course which will add excitement to the experience.

Haven't been to Mountain View Nature's Park before? Plan your own little trip now and have a relaxing day inside the park.

Till my next trip! Sharing is loving, share if you enjoyed the post. Thanks!

    1. Hello Chinkee,

Yung pamasahe sa habal-habal bali 50pesos per head. But sometimes they charge 75pesos per head if it's getting late. Hindi din mahirap sumakay pabalik sa JY Square kasi may standby habal-habal drivers din dun sa may entrance.

God bless Chinkee. Thanks for dropping by!

    1. Room rate is 500 to 2,500 if I'm not mistaken. 500 is good for two, 1000 is good for group of 4-6 persons and the 2,500 is for family or big groups. Check in time is 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon and out the same time the following day.

    1. Hello, I suggest for you to go directly there cause even if you contact them, you still have to do the reservation in person. Around 12PM would be a nice time to be there, check out time for guests is 1PM as I remembered.

    1. Hello Digoi!
It's definitely okay to bring your own baon, there's no problem about it. There's no corkage fee also. They do have their own canteen and it's affordable. ^^

    1. Yes, okay lang. There's no restrictions when it comes to alcoholic drinks given hindi kayo manggugulo pag nakainum na. You can even buy it there if you don't want extra loads because of the alcoholic drinks in going there.
